Cristina is a Tech Policy researcher at the Rio de Janeiro Institute of Technology and Society (ITS Rio), specializing in Artificial Intelligence and governance. She holds a postgraduate degree in Digital Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Based in Ceará's East Coast region, Brazil, Cristina practices as a lawyer. She is also the co-founder and former director of the Dun@ Institute - Technology and Governance. Additionally, she is a Professor of Digital Law, focusing on AI policy, data protection and privacy.

Hernan is a Machine Learning Engineer at AIFUND and Data Scientist with over 15 years of combined industry and academic experience. He has led end-to-end AI projects at early-stage startups, leveraging AWS and Docker to deploy production-scale pipelines. Formerly a Full Professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, he advised doctoral research on video compression and machine learning. Hernan holds AWS certifications and works in NLP, LLMOps, and advanced AI workflows.
